How to Resolve API Warning in ADSS Portal?

When the ADDSP Portal encounters an API Certificate Warning or error notification on the portal interface, it is typically caused by a missing or misconfigured certificate file in the HUB setup. 
 
This article provides step-by-step instructions to resolve the API warning and restore normal portal functionality.

Following are the steps to resolve API Warning in ADDSP Portal Login Page.
1. Log in to the Server 
  • Access the server where the ADDSP Portal is installed.
2. Navigate to Installation Directory
  • Go to the directory where the ADDSP configuration utility exists.
Example path:
 C:\Program Files\ADSS Portal


3. Run ADSS Portal Configuration Utility as Administrator

4. Open HUB Configuration Tab
  • In the “ADSS.Portal.ConfigUtility.exe”, navigate to the HUB Configurations tab.

5. Upload Required File
  • Click on the Browse icon.
  • Select and place the required certificate file at the specified location.
  • Click Save.

Note: A valid and properly registered certificate must be supplied for correct configuration.

6. Restart ADDSP Portal Hub Server
  • After saving the configuration, press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter to open the Services Management Console
  • In the list of services, locate ADDSP Portal Hub Server
  • Restart the ADDSP Portal Hub Server service.

7. Verify the Issue is Resolved
  • Log in to the ADDSP Portal.
  • Confirm that: 
    • The API warning notification is no longer visible at HC ADSS portal login page.
