How to Convert HTML Signatures into Images in ExSign Portal

The HTML to Image Conversion feature in ExSign Portal allows administrators to seamlessly transform HTML-based email signatures into image format. This ensures consistent display across all devices and email clients, eliminating rendering issues and maintaining professional branding.

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for enabling and configuring this feature.

Step 1: Enable HTML to Image Conversion in Config File
  1. Log in to the server where ExSign Portal is installed.
  2. Navigate to:
  3. C:\Program Files\ExSign Portal\Portal
  4. Open the appsettings.json file in a text editor (e.g., Notepad).
  5. Locate the "IsHtmlToImage" configuration.
  6. Set its value to:
  7. "IsHtmlToImage": true
  8. Save the changes.


Note: Once this configuration is enabled, the HTML to Image option will automatically appear in the context menu for your entities.


Step 2: Enable "Signature as Image" in Entities
  1. In the ExSign Portal, navigate to:
     Entities → Manage Entities → Actions.
  2. Locate the Signature as Image setting.
  3. Enable it and Save your changes.


Step 3: Configure Rules for HTML to Image Conversion
  1. Go to Rules → Manage Rules.
  2. In the Rule Condition, enable the Apply as Image setting.
  3. Specify the desired width for the image output.
  4. Save the rule settings.
Result
Once all the above settings are applied, your HTML signature will be automatically converted into an image, ensuring consistent display across devices and email platforms.
