Overview:
This article provides step-by-step guidance on deploying Microsoft 365 connectors using a valid .pfx certificate in ExSign. Ensure that the certificate is correctly placed, configured, and referenced throughout the process to enable a successful setup.

Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Place the Certificate File
  • Copy your valid .pfx certificate file to the following directory on the server where the ExSign Agent is installed:
  • C:\Program Files\ExSign M365 Agent\Certs
  • Ensure that the certificate file name remains exactly the same as the original.

2. Configure Certificate in the ExSign Agent Utility
  • Open the ExSign Agent Utility.
  • Enter the FQDN name using the certificate subject name.
  • Provide the certificate password in the appropriate field.
  • Click Save to apply the changes.

3. Configure Certificate in the Portal (Connectors Flow)
  • Log into the ExSign Portal.
  • Go to:
Entities > Manage Entities > Actions > M365 Connector Settings
  • In the Connectors Flow section:
    • Select certificate-based.
    • Provide the certificate subject name in the following fields:
      • ExSign Inbound Connector
      • ExSign Outbound Connector

4. Deploy Connectors Automatically

Organizations > Manage Organizations > Actions > Manage M365 Connectors
  • Click on Deploy Connectors Automatically to finalize the setup.

Note:
