Reasons for signatures to not apply in Exsign Stamping utility

1. ExSign Publishing and Analytics Services Status
  • To make sure that all Agents on MBX Servers connections are refreshed, it is recommended to restart this “ExSign Publishing and Analytics Services” Windows Service on the ExSign Portal machine.
  • To start the “ExSign Publishing and Analytics Services”, press the Windows + R keys on your keyboard to open the Run window. Type services. msc and hit Enter on your keyboard or click/tap the OK button. Once Windows Services MMC is opened, restart “ExSign Publishing and Analytics Services” service.

2. License Quota in ExSign Portal Entities
  • Navigate to ExSign Portal: Entities >> Manage Entities >> Actions.
  • Ensure there is enough license quota available.
  • If the license quota is insufficient, signatures will not be applied.

3. Organization Quota in ExSign Portal Organizations
  • Go to ExSign Portal: Organizations >> Manage Organization >> Actions.
  • Confirm there is enough quota for the organization.
  • Insufficient organization quota will prevent signatures from being applied.

4. User Exclusion in ExSign Portal Entities
  • In ExSign Portal: Entities >> Manage Entities >> Actions, check the excluded user list.
  • Ensure that the user is not listed in the excluded users list.
  • Users in the excluded list will not have signatures applied.

5. User Exclusion at the Organization Level
  • In ExSign Portal: Organizations >> Manage Organization >> Actions, check the excluded user list at the organization level.
  • Ensure the user is not in the excluded users list.
  • Users excluded at the organization level will not have signatures applied.

6. Rule Fulfillment in ExSign Portal Rules
  • Navigate to ExSign Portal: Rules >> Manage Rules.
  • Ensure that all rules are fulfilled for applying the signatures.
