Unable to connect to HC database server

Question: Unable to connect to HC database server

Solution:
There might be many reasons for this error. Some of the major reasons are given below.

• There may be chances that you are giving incorrect sa login during Installation.
• HC will not be able to connect to MSSQL server if you are giving incorrect MSSQL instance name.
• If MSSQL is set as windows authentication, then change it to Mix Mode as HC does not support Windows Authentication only.
• Make it sure that MSSQL service is set as automatic and is in running state.
• Make it sure that Named Pipes & TCP/IP are in Enabled Protocol list.
