HC ADSync: The attribute syntax specified to the directory service is invalid

Question: HC ADSync is throwing this error "Error: The attribute syntax specified to the directory service is invalid" ?

Solution:

This error appears if Manager account does not exist or synchronized on Cloud DC. Make sure “Manager” and “directly report to” user is synchronized and exists on Cloud.
