How to Sync Organizations with Mailbox Databases

Question: How to synchronize an organization (O.U) after reassigning it to a new Mailbox Database.

Problem: Users are often presented with a problem when they reassign an Organization (O.U) to a new Mailbox Database directly from the Exchange PowerShell at the backend. The change, not being reflected in HC, causes disruption in operations. 

Solution for HC10 

As a remedy Mailbox Database Sync Status feature has been introduced in HC10. This allows the reassigned organizations (which were manually reassigned at the backend in Exchange) to be synchronized with the new Mailbox Databases on the fly hence minimizing the chance of a mismatch in HC database.


Click on 'Edit' button to update the Mailbox database for the Exchange Organization.





Solution for HC9
