Question: Trying to reset the password for BlackBerry user but it is not being changed from HC panel?
Answer:
Reset password function will only work once that user mailbox, which is activated via HC, is also logged into Backberry device. Before that reset password will not work. This is required by Blackberry not HC. You can run this command manually to see it.
You can run this command from resource kit at backend and you will get same error error
BESUserAdminClient -p clientPassword -set_password "NewPassword" -u user@domain.com -b "BEServerName"
Note: ClientPassword is besuseradminclient password and BEServerName is Servername
