Here is the solution to set HC database on a remote dedicated SQL server.
   
Execute HC Installer on the machine which would act as Master/Portal console used for HC panel interface.

Select option " Setup New Cluster"


Then select option " Create a New Database"
 
Now in next screen give following connectivity information

• Server : Enter the IP address or SQL Server instance name for the remote database machine. 
• IP: Enter the IP address of the machine (HC Master/Portal) where HC is being installed.
• Database: Enter HC Database Name. 

  
This way you can store HC database on remote SQL machine without having the need to install HC application on it.
