Error: 70900370: Unable to activate license on Linux Server

Question: Error: 70900370: Unable to activate license, Linux panel does not get activated?
 

Cause: 
    Error: 70900370 stand for "customer's Machine is unable to connect to HC activation database server due to network and DNS settings."


Solution:
In order to solve this issue follow these instructions: 

   • Go to Linux server. Open file vi /etc/hosts and make the following entries.

 

            169.45.97.167   activation.hostingcontroller.com

 

   • Save file

 

   • Now try to re-activate your license.

 

Note: Fields can have any number of blanks or tab characters separating them.
