How to enable LDAP over SSL using Self-Signed Certificate

Problem: How to enable LDAP over SSL using Self-Signed Certificate?

Solution: Enabling communication for LDAP over a secure channel (LDAP-S) using a self-signed certificate on the Cloud Domain Controller can be achieved by following the detail instructions given in this link: https://docs.hostingcontroller.com/Products/AD-Connect-Sync/AD-Connect-Sync-Tool/Enabling-LDAPS-Self-Signed-Certificates

Also, if you have purchased an SSL/TLS certificate against the Cloud Domain from a certificate authority then specify its proper resolvable domain name in Cloud Domain name under Cloud AD settings in AD Sync tool.

Note: In case if you have purchased SSL/TLS certificate against IP Address, then only in that case you can specify the IP in the Cloud Domain field.
