What are the precautions to be taken before HC re-Installation?

Question: What are the precautions to be taken before reinstallation of HC7 panel?

Solution:
Before re-installation of HC you must take care of following things:

1. First take Backup of HC database.
2. Backup ServerSetting.xml file from HC installation folder X:\Program Files\Advanced Communications\Hosting Controller \INI.
3. Reinstall HC panel and no need to configure Global settings or edit server settings.
4. Restore HC database.
5. Restore ServerSetting.xml file in its original path.

Note: If you give new db user permissions on HC database then register it from RegisterServer.exe file located at path X:\Program Files\Advanced Communications\Hosting Controller\Applications.
