Squirrel Mail configuration in the Linux Server

Question: How to configure Squirrel Mail in HC panel?  Or  Email accounts are unable to login through Squirrelmail?

Answer:

HC installer ships the required IMAP version for using with Exim,postfix and sendmail mail servers. You only require to follow these instructions for proper configuration of the IMAP server with HC panel:
 

1. Login to your server through SSH.
2. Stop dovecot IMAP by using this command: service dovecot stop
3. Now navigate to the location: /etc/init.d/ and rename the dovecot file to dovecot.bak
