Exception: There is no such object on the server

Problem: In the HCPwdSync debug logs, getting the error 'Exception: There is no such object on the server' for existing user password as shown in the below screenshot:


Reason: This problem occurs when the object is already mapped but does not exist on Cloud AD or the HCDirSync utility cannot find the target user object on Cloud AD.

Resolution: Clear the AD attribute “DesktopProfile” from the user properties on both Local and Cloud AD and then re-run the AD Connect Sync Service.
