HC ADSync utility is not syncing Users Attributes

Question: HC ADSync utility is not syncing Users Attributes ?

Answer:

If users or their attributes are not syncing by ADSync utility then please follow below steps to resolve the issue.
 
  1. Open "HC Directory Sync Utility Configuration > Cloud AD Settings" in user login credentials make sure that it has sufficient privileges to perform write action on the Cloud Active Directory.
    Note: This Admin user login info can only provides by the owner of Cloud Active directory.
     
  2. HC ADSync utility use LDAP Protocol to connect with Cloud Active Directory. This LDAP protocol normally accept and allow for remote connection with the installation of Active directory.
    Verify that following ports are not prohibited in the cloud AD Firewall

    TCP Port
    389/LDAP 636/LDAPS : HC ADSync communicate using LDAP protocol
    135/tcp :  Microsoft Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service.
    139/tcp : NetBIOS
    445/tcp :  Microsoft-DS (Active Directory, Windows shares)
     
  3. When you select an organization to be synced in "HC Directory Sync Utility Configuration > Local AD Settings" a Security group will be added with name " OUName_sync" inside the respective organization, make sure that users are member of that security group.
