Question : How to change HC Website port ?
Answer:
Changing the port involves 2 steps. Suppose you wish to run HC website on port 2087. In this case follow the steps given below:
1) Change the port in IIS at IIS :: HC Admin Site :: Properties :: Web Site tab. Here change the TCP port from 8787 to 2087.
2) Also change the port in registry at: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Advanced Communications\HostingController\General. Here change the decimal value of "HCSitePort" to 2087 and this will change the port of HC to 2087.
