Question: Why SharePoint site is not being created through HC panel?
Answer:
Here are some of the following reasons:
1. Logon Type of HC Remoting Service should be Domain Administrator: If HC Remoting Service is not running under Domain Administrator user on SharePoint server then HC will not create SharePoint sites.
2. Share Point is not properly configured in HC panel: If SharePoint is not properly configured in HC panel from Server Manager :: Edit Server :: SharePoint Server at host level then HC will not create SharePoint sites. So, make sure that the Administrator's "User Name" and "password" for SharePoint should be specified correctly in HC panel. The user name for SharePoint will be <Domain_Name>\Administrator under Server Manager :: Edit Server :: SharePoint Server.
3. SharePoint installation is normally done in Standalone Environment, not as a part of Domain: However in order for the SharePoint to work with HC, SharePoint installation must be done in Active Directory Domain. First join this server to AD Domain and then install SharePoint on that particular Server. SharePoint installation in Standalone environment is not supported in HC panel.
4. SharePoint Database Server installation: During SharePoint installation on any server, choose option "install into firmware", also the Database Server for SharePoint should not be internal Database Server rather it should be another SQL Server instance on the same SharePoint machine else the user will not be able to create SharePoint sites in HC panel.
